Ok so like I’m not 100% sure on how tails works? Like can I get a virus on my computer or can someone bypass it and like steal my personal info?

And I’m not too clear on what it’s used for is it just staying anonymous/safe on tor or does it have other uses (I’m sorry if these are dumb questions that I should know)
