I used to be a “one project at a time” kind of stitcher but lately I get sidetracked by other projects that I give out as presents so it’s always at least two at a time. Now it gets kind of difficult when I have a deadline for one but I also have to do it in secret… While living with that person and spending a good chunk of my free time hanging out with them! So for the past two weeks I ended up making…about 100 stitches in total 😅

Erm. Well I just looked around my immediate vicinity and there are 4 cross stitch projects, plus one crochet thing and two knitting within arm’s reach. Then there’s all my current sewing stuff, a mostly complete macrame wall hanging and other hibernating projects upstairs…erk.

Variety is the spice of life, and all that!

One of my friends has been working hard to get her WIP count down this year. Think she was on 80-something!

We have a long way to go before it becomes a real problem 😄

I have four; two of them are ridiculously large and I’ve done less than 0.5% on each - but it’s the thought that counts, right?

The other two are much smaller but still quite large and I’ve been focusing on one of those a lot more, since it’s a gift that the person knows they’re getting.

I’m still very new to this hobby, so I’m still just doing one project at a time, but I do already have like 3 more projects lined up and I’ve considered starting one of them already

Usually two, that way I can procrastinate one project by working on the other. I like to sew and embroider my clothes also, but sometimes I cannot wait for the embroidery to wear it. The embroidery get’s done when the clothing is out of season.

I have like 5 projects currently but a couple of them are small and others are kits I picked up on vacation when I didn’t have my main project with me. I like to be 1-project-kind-of-person but sometimes I need a break and just do something simple.

My ‘main’ WIP is The Shire and it’s a bit advanced and hard to do while watching TV 😂

Oh wow that looks amazing. I’d buy it if I didn’t have about 4 patterns that I’ve yet to start 😅

Edit: Just looked at Viktoriya’s Etsy store and realized I’ve followed here and even have a finished piece from her!

Looks like your link doesn’t work :(

I think her Etsy was closed, but Boosty and instagram works to buy her patterns. I have all the ‘snow globe’ ones and are slowly working my way through them.

OK it turns out I have no idea how Etsy works. I just googled her name in Latin letters, followed by Etsy, a bunch of patterns appeared, some of which in her style, and one of them was something I’ve bought. Sadly, it wasn’t her work. I saw she’s from Russia so maybe that’s why her Etsy is closed.
