Im on my first ever ng+ of dark souls and any game in general. Im saving solaire this time around. What did yall do different second time around that you liked or hated?

In all DS games, I tried to go from a melee to a magic build, but it never clicks with me.
To me, spells feel useless or like cheating. Somehow I don’t get to a fun middle ground… but I’ll keep trying.
