I often hear stories (either blog posts or videos) about how much of a nightmare working in Dubai is; economically and socially. I also hear how Dubai employs near-slave labor for many of their low-paying jobs. Yet, it makes me wonder why so many people – mostly from countries such as India, Thailand and Philippines – are willing to work there, despite how bad it is. Are the risks all worth the money, or are they simply uninformed enough when making the decision?
