Hey all,

I am considering NixOS as it initially seems to me like the one ultimate most configurable and custom tailorable, reproducible distro that I’ve always searched for. However I have some concernes since I’ve heard some negative stuff about it, so here are my questions…

How stable NixOS is for everyday use, base interactions with hardware like speakers, mic, camera, external monitors, everyday tasks like calls, screensharing etc?

And for development, my tech stack is front / back, npm based projects, and java / scala - what issues if any can I expect? (To think of one example, installing global npm packages)
