Threadbeast has been blowing up on TikTok and Instagram lately, and it’s getting a ton of love. It’s pretty wild how different things are now compared to a few years back when everyone seemed to hate on Threadbeast. So, I thought, why not give it another shot? Back in 2020, I ordered their $95 box, and let me tell you, it was a major letdown. The clothes were so bad that you wouldn’t even find them at a thrift store. The box consisted of some of the thinnest and worst quality printed T-Shirts and some lousy sweatpants and synthetic underwear.
Fast forward three years, and I see all this hype around Threadbeast, and I had some cash that would otherwise be spent on something I’d regret, so I thought, “Why not? Let’s see if they’ve improved.” So, I dropped $95 on a box again, and it arrived yesterday. Honestly, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The clothes were worth more than $100 in total, and some of them were actually pretty cool. But here’s the kicker—they completely ignored my preferences and sent me underwear and sweatpants even though I specifically told them not to. Plus, one of the clothing items didn’t fit.
The cancellation process is also still as scammy as ever and the customer service is rude.
In the end, I liked only 2 out of the 6 items they sent me. So, here’s my take: unless you’ve got a lot of extra cash to burn, Threadbeast is still not worth it. It seems like they’ve stepped up their game, but it’s still worse that shopping on your own.
