It’s absolutely pathetic how much better other cities are than Vancouver in this regard… But at least we can be comforted by the fact that Boston is worse.
This is one of those cases where less regulation would be good, and it’ll annoy NIMBYs which is even better.
Don’t blame them for not wanting a bunch of night clubs open until 2 am.

Then create a district for it? Put purpose-built affordable rental housing near it and let it be.
