Okay, I love bananas, and I love mayo, but I’m having a really hard time imagining those together
For a solid couple of months it was Escape from the Prison Planet - Clutch
But for the last couple of days it’s been Le Poisson Steve
0ops@lemm.eeto You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK - a very comprehensive guide on how to avoid "very"401·15 hours agoAlternatively, instead of using the “very” prefix, you can use the “as fuck” suffix. Check it out: Noisy as fuck. Tasty as fuck. Important as fuck. If you really want to underline your point though, combine them. For example, when you want to express the gravity of the situation or something, say “This situation is very grave as fuck!”. See what I mean? Now that’s what I call very eloquent as fuck prose, shit that’ll suck the air out of the room for sure.
I think I squeezed the fish too hard, what do I do?
0ops@lemm.eeto Casual Conversation @lemm.ee•What are your favourite spices to use?English4·18 hours agoHungarian paprika is awesome, I like to mix the sweet and hot varieties 50-50, and often use smoked paprika on top of that. I like paprika
I dunno, granted this is the first I’ve heard the word but from that definition I get the impression that a quidler intentionally has their priorities mixed up, as a way of stalling perhaps? Procrastination is a bit different I think, something I do by accident, even when I’m aware that it’s happening
Lol, I won’t lie to you I was just setting up for the inevitable “figma balls” joke, thanks for the serious explanation though
Depends how clumsy they get with the wine

Oh I know about the garments, I’m ex-mo myself, but I’ve never heard of onesie garments. They’re all basically #3 in the chart. I thought they were talking about something different
0ops@lemm.eeto News@lemmy.world•Audio Analysis: Eurovision Broadcaster Muted Sounds of Crowd Booing and Shouting “Free Palestine!”6·3 days agoTo be fair, that didn’t become the motto until the 1950s, and (I had to Google this) it wasn’t on any currency until almost a hundred years after the revolution. The founding fathers, for all their flaws, were pretty adamant about keeping the church separate from the state, most of them being either deists, naturalists, or atheists.
I don’t think they’re asking for justification of the comment, I’m pretty sure they’re asking for the results of the experiment (you know tongue in cheek). Which is fair imo, not that I don’t like mythbusters but I don’t have time to sit down and watch it atm.
Edit: Crazyslinkz understood the question
Nah, needs more recursion. The ‘W’ in “WSL” stands for “WSL”
