Afaik in the app there isn’t. I think the actual photo data bytes do get deleted but some other crap generated from the ML models ran on them stay. Databases are also constantly replicated and snapshotted multiple times for all Google services and I have no idea how long those last either

I just had somebody bail on a hotel we booked because they read on a reddit thread that the site I used was a scam. Checked out the thread and it’s the most obvious corporate botted comments I’ve ever seen saying the site is a scam while I’ve used it in the past and there were no problems

I even called the hotel directly and yup, confirmed my reservation no problems. Person still doesn’t trust it because of the reddit thread. Even though they can also literally just call the hotel themselves
