We really lack that mentality. We always sit back after we’re 2-0 up and hope for the best and it always backfires.
If the same Milan that played in the first half came out to play in the second half, this ends 5-0 to Milan. But we pressed the brakes like we always do and threw away a win.

They looked really poor against us as well when we were pressing them high up the pitch. And they only looked good when they started to play on the counter after we gave them the first goal.
This win was really important for Juve as their fixtures start to get harder and harder until the beginning of next year.
Inter will need a win tomorrow before their brutal run of fixtures. While Milan will gladly take a draw to keep them in contention for the title (a win would be better obviously)

If you want to understand how big of a problem this is… Only two christian players have ever represented Egypt throughout its history. Both did so over 30 years ago.
Never before and never after has any christian worn the colors of their country.
And the top officials in Egypt keep citing Hany Ramzy (one of the two players mentioned above) as evidence that there’s no discrimination towards christian players. Completely missing the fact that he played 30 years ago and only made it that far because he had a name that could work as either a Muslim or a Christian.
But like who though? There’s a severe lack of good talents in the league, and the ones that are actually good are overpriced compared to talents from elsewhere.

I don’t oppose it morally. Corporations should pay as much taxes as legally possible.
It’s just that football clubs as corporations bring in so much money for the country in other ways as well. Paying rent for the stadiums, attracting tourism to the country and bringing in commercial deals to the league.
So taking away the only financial advantage that they had means they can’t attract some of the players that they could before. So it’s just less money across the board.
So it just makes sense to not include football clubs in rules like this, especially retroactively.

Really hope Pioli gets the memo here because it’s really frustrating how often we do that.
I understand that we can’t play with this type of intensity for 90 minutes especially with the injuries that we have. But 60 minutes today would have been enough. And most of the time it would be as well.
