Rune Factory 4 is pretty alright, if you like Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon, though if you don’t like anime stuff you probably won’t like it (but since you mentioned Kid Icarus it will probably be fine).
Bravely Default is probably one of my favourite RPGs, great soundtrack and a ton of QOL features that other RPGs don’t bother with (like setting the encounter rate, setting battles to auto to grind, and getting extra exp for beating battles quickly) it is fairly grindy though and one of the main characters is a sexpest (once again, anime bullshit).
Also, not a 3ds game, a gameboy advance game, but the mario tennis on gba is way better, it’s a full on tennis RPG and it is great.

It is one of the better superman stories for what it’s worth. Go in expecting extremely lib depictions of Stalin, the USSR and communism and you should be alright.
As posted already there’s a comic called Red Son which is Iib af but still a good read anyway where superman lands in the user instead of America.
It’s so absurd that he ends global poverty, hunger, makes sure every single person on the planet is fulfilled and doing well, entirely peacefully, he doesn’t conquer or invade a single country, and the comic depicts this as a bad thing because “muh freedoms!”

Ah but you forget, climate change will force millions of people from the global south to abandon their homes and head to Europe. So things will be nice and simple, the native Europeans can join the military and enforce their will on the refugees, who will become the slave class. It’s a perfect system.

If someone’s dropping a review after 7+ hours, even if it’s unhinged, you can at least say they engaged with the game beyond the title screen or Character Creation
Jokes on you, I always open a new game then end up alt-tabbing and going and doing something else which steam still recognises as “hours played”!
What I don’t love is how everyone in the west seems to love falling for it every time. It feels so isolating.
