Just a brief moment of retrospective reality: Until Trump, had there ever been any ex-President publicly demanding apologies from the incumbent?
At least in my long life, the answer is no. Because all of them, despite all their faults, had some slight touch of class Trump knows nothing about.
It’s the Republic of Gilead.
So fucking infuriating. Everything that ever made an American flag not worth burning seems to be over and done with.
That does sound frustrating. Wish I had some good advice to offer.
Have you tried a different browser? I’m on Firefox, but some sites don’t play nice with it and I switch to Chrome for a few minutes…
Kbin does log me out once or twice weekly for no known reason, but I have no difficulties logging in again. You say you’ve cleared site data — cache and cookie? If you’ve tried it twice and it hasn’t worked, time to open a ticket with the help desk (admins).
I suppose kids who want to, and work at it, can overcome almost any adversity, but it’s breathtaking to intentionally teach children to be stupid.
Destruction such as this will never again be uncommon.
This as a sneak preview not many years into the future, when there’ll be no workable supply chains at all, as climate change wreaks hellish havoc everywhere, consistently.
Excellent. More like this, please.
We’re better than Reddit. Why try to duplicate something worse?
This seems like a roadblock to people discovering any community here. It removes the Reddit effect, where adding ‘Reddit’ to a search led to non-ad posts with first-person relevance, and eliminates the easiest way for someone who’s not part of the federated universe to find the federated universe.
Counterproductive, seems to me.
“Boost” comes across as a bug, not a feature. People should have one vote, not two.
Actually, yeah, I have asked my friends how the girlfriend who dumped me is doing. Caring isn’t something you can click on and off like a light switch.
@NewsJunkie
I’d be curious to see footage of the wave, but there’s no act of nature (and nothing on earth, really) that would make me want to watch even the briefest clip from a TV newscast.
