Or when you’re not from New York and it’s like 4 pizza shops on one specific street in Manhattan
Or when you’re not from New York and it’s like 4 pizza shops on one specific street in Manhattan
fucked everything sucks everybody
Is this an offer or…?
If America cared about road safety, no Tesla running Full Self Driving^TM Auto-Pilot^TM Completely Drives Itself^TM would be allowed on the road and trucks with 6 foot high hoods would all be confiscated at gun point.
Random pen question I’ve been thinking about: how do you respond to this? I have responded in two separate ways:
Both of these ended in the other person not really saying much of anything, seemingly because they didn’t have a response. Is there something better I’m missing?
You can just not respond lol. I knew you weren’t going to have anything worthwhile to say, but instead of turning tail and walking away like liberals usually do, you gotta waste time with reddit-tier turbo nerd responses. I just know you are familiar with the inside of a locker.
Dutifully reciting DoD memos verbatim and then calling me a bootlicker lol
That’s weird that she has the same exact response to both the comments you asked her about. This story feels very real and true.
Ask “her” if “she” has any rebuttal to the actual things being said.
I mean yes, nationalists will be nationalists. I can also find a ton of confederates in the south of the US, flying the flag and everything. Here’s hoping she doesn’t have the same views on ethnicity as most nationalists do 😬
So the southern US is its own independent country right? The losing side of civil wars gets to keep “their” land? (Actually this is being too charitable to Taiwan, they actually invaded land and called it theirs)
Oh wow, I love jan Misali, I’ve actually been re-binging their videos. I’m eagerly awaiting being taught more of the objective truth of the Super Mario franchise (I nominated Frederick Douglass for best Mario character). But this is way deeper into the lore than anything I’m aware of. I only watched the video covering the basics of Toki Pona and I usually don’t delve into the music, but that is a wild crossover. (Toki Pona fulfilling its purpose? Nice) And the medley is very cool. But the cover must be under a different name? (Also, I just realized what you meant about the kigurumi stuff…I hate that.)
Yeah, I’ve always played and watched a lot of CS, so kliksphilip beats almost any channel out there on quality, no matter the topic, and his AI videos are interesting.
Lmao that’s so funny. Those two channels are great.
Yeah, the main reason I watch videos in Japanese is to keep my listening skills up, and I get clickbaited by those TTS channels all the time. I’d like to listen to at least some narration and then I get Hatsune Miku’s monotone evil sister explaining social issues.
But I do watch those others on occasion. I happened to find the same language-focused ones just through searching about linguistics. I didn’t know aboutきすみ, but I definitely will watch more, thanks.
And that Minerva channel has an…eclectic…mix of videos. Like a cursed Japanese (2/3)kliksphilip. Chasing trends, I guess, but their language videos look good.
The only other recommendations I have are マスタード, who is a very funny impressionist/streamer, depending on your sense of humor, and サラタメさん, who mostly does book reviews.
No, any kind really. I just mentioned gaming because of the post.
I’ve found a few by searching very specific topics. Like this one on Japanese etymology/language trivia. Or Japanese Vsauce.
I saw your post from earlier, do you just find the Japanese ones from Niconico?
I’m always looking for Japanese YouTubers but I can’t get YouTube to recommend any, no matter how much I watch. I only ever find anything by searching for a specific game name and something generic in Japanese.
individuals who already have questionable allegiance to the US
He’s protecting US global financial interests. How is his allegiance any less than any other senator? Substantiate this.
Just keep in mind the Ukrainians still want to fight.
Americans still wanted to fight at the end of the Vietnam war. I can show you many statements. The question is which Ukrainians. Substantiate this.
It’s not like the US are the ones trying to kill the Ukrainian president to get their way.
The US has tried to assassinate foreign leaders for political convenience 100s of times over the past 100 years. The US is morally inferior to Russia, which is already incredibly morally corrupt.
war-centric economy that’s ultimately degrading their society even further
You’re talking about the US here right?
American liberals wanting to absolve themselves of any responsibility.
Israel would crumple like tinfoil if the countries who stood against them could attack them directly. It is only America’s arms, aid, and threat of retaliation that dissuades that. This is as much America’s genocide as Israel’s.
This is specifically about the UK. It’s basically pointing out how the current labor party agrees with the conservatives on everything, but use different words for the same result.
What? There is no contradiction. The West has a global hegemony enforced by the world’s biggest, most expensive murder organization. A lot of work and intelligent minds go into maintaining this hegemony, but the society it’s built on is falling apart.
I don’t think you would be calling this “propaganda” if you spoke to any regular people around you.
On the electricity video, he was actually correct. It was mostly a matter of semantics and people clinging to the common models of electricity.
His video with one of those “genetic research” companies was very bad anti-privacy propaganda, where they used the excuse of catching the Golden State Killer as justification for storing and using the related genetic information of masses of unconsenting individuals.
He’s also dipped several times into making state department propaganda like Smarter Every Day consistently does. Not nearly quite as bad as him yet though.
And he’s made several videos about failures of capitalism, wherein he very obviously refuses to identify it as the problem. Like the one about planned obsolescence or leaded gasoline and another I’m forgetting.
Can you explain in a quick sentence why you think everyone here is saying the NYT article is so bad? It doesn’t seem like you understand.
