"On hearing the news that Rome had “perished”, Honorius was initially shocked, thinking the news was in reference to a favourite chicken he had named “Roma”.
It was absolutely every bit as stupid as today. People really haven’t changed much in 2000 years.
Ah, there it goes. Was waiting for this one. Next up, porn ban. Small government indeed; small enough to fit into your bedroom…
Well, that’s one possible great filter down then. If it happened twice on one planet it’s safe to assume that, given similar circumstances, it could happen again, or already has elsewhere.
Still makes me giddy every time though.
I wouldn’t mind it all so much if there weren’t so many goddamn cheaters in the lobby.

It happens, especially in tech, but I’d say it’s still the exception to the norm.
Well… you’ll find out eventually, one way or the other.
Don’t worry Nintendo, even as someone who grew up on SMB, you’ve thoroughly convinced me to never do business with you ever again. Not even nostalgia…
I’m fully banking on it. They’ll argue the office of the president is “special” and not beholden to the same rules and regulations that are supposed to bind public servants. And the SC will grant them that.
