Eh, fuel can be synthesized, likely better than kero for this use case, and will eventually become cheaper as renewables gain dominance. Progressing civilian aviation is a value that endures (although I would argue for it’s reduction during the climate crisis).

I’d go with second law of thermodynamics, but whatever.
Could be done, perhaps, with significant added complexity (and hence maintenance). In practice it is not, to my knowledge there are no mid-mount regenerative system on the market. It is worth noting that mid-mounts are significantly more efficient than hub mount, enough so that even compared to hub mounts with regeneration, mid-mounts have more range for a given battery / wattage. The vast majority of hub mounts also do not implement regeneration.

This will increase adoption of e-bikes and acoustic bikes as people will be safe using the infrastructure.
Yeah, you’ll have fun with W13. Definitely a found family vibe, with good characters and chemistry. I’ve found a lot of rewatch value, a comfort show, in a similar vein to Eureka.

ROCm 7.0 seems to be giving >2x uplift on consumer cards over 6.9, so that’s lovely. Haven’t tried 7 myself yet, waiting for the dust to settle, but I have no issues with image gen, text gen, image tagging, video scanning etc using containers and distroboxes on Bazzite with a 7800XT.
Bleeding edge and research tends to be CUDA, but mainstream use cases are getting ported reasonably quickly. TLDR unless you’re training or researching (unlikely on consumer cards) AMD is fine and performant, plus you get stable linux and great gaming.
