Have they been getting rid of CDs? I’ve still been able to get CDs of everything I’ve wanted. One I bought this year on Amazon even gave me a free digital key, so I didn’t even have to rip it.

I think people just don’t like CDs as much.

Inside Out absolutely deserves a spot. It’s my favorite Disney (+Pixar) movie and also in my top 10, and I grew up on the '90s Disney movies.

Speaking of, if there were 2 Disney movies I’d put on the list, it would probably be Inside Out and The Lion King.

As a Marvel fan, I don’t think it’s been overhyped. But I have thought some former movies were overhyped.

I do think it’s even better if you’re familiar with the characters though.

I love the fact that they kept all of the hit boxes the exact same… in theory. But it’s really annoying how they change the texture areas. So you have fake walls. But what enrages me is when I’m aiming around an object and there’s an invisible real wall, because in old graphics the rock went out a little farther.

One of the biggest issues with CE is removing the creepy atmosphere from the second half of the game by brightly lighting everything. Aside from that they changed a lot of the textures unnecessarily. I could imagine a more faithful remake.

Let them fight.

But also, I get the idea of selling to other markets for cheap for a little extra profit. There’s a difference between profit based on cost of production and profit based on the development of the product. Same as with medicine costs. Not sure how that’s Amazon’s fault though, considering it’s Marketplace.

I’m not sure if I missed it somewhere in your writeup. But there’s also Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, the multiplayer co-op game.

It’s weird, Black Panther doesn’t scratch my top 5 MCU movies. It wasn’t even the best black lead superhero movie of the same year. Into the Spider-Verse is probably in my top 10 movies.

But BP was undoubtedly one of the more culturally impactful movies in the MCU.

But then again, Deadpool 1 and 2 are great movies that have been culturally impactful. But critics don’t want to admit that.

Marvel does own merch rights. But Spider-Man movies are always profitable. Even Amazing Spider-Man 2 was. It’s free money.

However the spin-offs, outside of Venom, have been break-even at best.

I know Portal isn’t a shooter. But Portal made me think of them. I feel like a lot of FPSs would fit OP’s question. Half-Life 2 and most of the Halo games come to mind.

He has lost a lot in courts. The problem is that even 1% of his obviously unconstitutional bullshit winning in courts is disastrous.

A glass of water with 1% shit in it is almost entirely water. But it’s still shit water.

X actually went back to fully turn-based, getting rid of the ATB.

XII still had the ATB, but you could move freely in the environment and all enemies were already there. So no more random battles.

XV was the first mainline Final Fantasy with active battles. But games like Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, and Lightning Returns had it earlier.

FFX is tied as my favorite game of all time. It’s the only other game consistently talked about as being the best in the series along with VII.

It sucks that the delay caused him to quit. But also, I’m glad it got delayed if it meant that we got the final product that we did.

XIII and XIII-2 were both standard turn based. It just had stacked ATB gauges. But it was still standard menu battling.

I’d argue XII was turn based too, it just let you move while the ATB gauge filled.

Final Fantasy Dimensions and World of Final Fantasy exist too. But people forget those.

I’ve loved most of the Final Fantasy games. But the PS1 games (the golden era) were the worst about this.

Pre-PS1 typically required more thought. You had to balance magic use, item use, and of course melee. But even then you had to debate whether to spend a turn reviving your healer or try to get the victory before a team wipe.

Post PS1 you had X’s rock paper scissors battle. You had to figure out who could attack who. It wasn’t too complicated but it forced variety.

XII streamlined the auto attacking and allowed you to focus on the exceptions (enemy weak against fire, use silence, cure). That could be automated too, but I liked to handle that myself.

XIII & XIII-2 forced you to balance your jobs/classes constantly in battle.

Lightning Returna, XV, and XVI were real time.

Tactics was PS1, but it definitely required more than just attack.

The PS1 games, for the most part, could be dominated with “press X”. Most of the strategy took place outside of battle.

Just claim they’re illegal immigrants and you can.

I loved his movies. FFH wasn’t as good, it felt a bit more slapstick with him fumbling around a lot. They toned down Mysterio to make him more palatable which is a shame. But otherwise they nailed the essence of him. I’m excited to see him come back through his crew.

Him specifically, he’s fine for what they’re doing with his iteration. I still would rather Garfield’s just be incorporated into the MCU. Holland’s feels too nice to be as snarky as Garfield’s. I don’t think it’s Holland’s fault, they just wanted him chatty and naive. Plus Garfield was already self-reliant.

But if they had gone down that route with Holland, I think he could have nailed it even better since it would be more unexpected. Garfield’s Spider-Man wore his anger on his sleeves.

They could easily do jokester/mocking with Holland now that he’s in the thick of superheroing.

I like the movie trailers. But one of the theaters i used to go to started showing 5 minutes of ads, like the premovie soda and popcorn, cars, etc. I dont go to that one anymore.
