1 year agoI don’t think he offers anything different to the squad, and he isn’t better than our current players who are ahead of him (which is why he’s usually left out for the actual game squad).
Someone like Nuno Santos would at least be valuable if Martinez wanted to try something different, like an offensive LWB
But personally I don’t care as much, he’s 100% gone once Nuno Mendes is fit
Worst part about this is that Schmidt will now keep his job until the end of the season
