I’m going to miss EH. I could come here, turn on everything, and see a reasonable feed - a mix of topics, with only a sprinkling of rabid leftism. That’s the closest to my old reddit feed I’ve seen on lemmy. The defederation by leftist fascists made that possible. I can’t go to any other instance and get the same sane mix of content without a ton of work. The everything feeds elsewhere are mostly hate, mostly rabid leftism, mostly doom & gloom, with a sprinkling of other content.

I got downvoted into oblivion for bringing demographics & geography into a discussion about mass transportation. I’m truly tired of trying to enlighten people that get their feelings hurt by facts. You know, those toxic types who prefer silencing you over debating you because they can’t defend their ideas.

So I’m here, hoping for real discussions and lively debate about real topics.
