From personal experience with older builds, OpenShot is too unstable, buggy, and prone to freezing to be reliable for my video edits.
This was also my experience. Split one too many times and OpenShot would get upset. Stability in this new version would be a big plus.
Well it would be a win-win for India, basically Russia gets paid in customer loyalty store points.

Ignoring the law is a more profitable strategy then following it. Unless this changes, then healthcare companies will continue screwing people over.
Yeah, my local Domino’s had a banger deal this past weekend too, was $15 after tax for a 1-topping large and cinnamon sticks. (~11 USD).
In Canada we still Domino’s have coupons on the website and sometimes they are even mailed out.
And yeah, to get a decent deal you have to only order the pizza, pick it up yourself, get drinks and sides anywhere else if you want them. I’m a sucker for cinnamon sticks and icing that many chains offer.
I understand that institutionalized racism has long been and continues to be a thing, where predominantly white neighbourhoods are kept quiet and intact while neighbourhoods whose residents are predominantly other races end up being the first target for displacement and “physical impacts”. Most likely the land in the neighborhood of the selected alternative costs lower than that of the other neighbourhood, which isn’t Amtrak’s fault but it is one of the facets of this institutional racism.
The Interstate Highway System is a prime example of this in many metro areas, and ironically improving this rail corridor would be helping to reverse the damage by making alternatives to motor vehicles more attractive.
On the other hand, this effort is treading towards the line of NIMBYism. With proper engineering, the effects of tunneling under the neighbourhood are overstated.
Still, I think that if there are legitimate health concerns, the ones who pay the most in direct and indirect costs should receive commensurate benefits. Provide better transit to the neighbourhood that connects to the nearest station serviced by the future corridor. Subsidize premium comprehensive healthcare for these residents to help address any concerns from construction impacts. Fund soundproofing improvements if noise impacts are a concern.
The one rule I would dream of seeing is soft speed throttling to ensure that cars and trucks stay a safe 3 second distance or more apart from each other. That should be relatively easy to do with basic distance sensing and calculations.
It’s happened so many times now that these tech news articles have gotten into a habit of including a paragraph on “how to turn off the latest stupid thing Microsoft pushed onto Windows”, because they know people keep looking for these answers.
The first of those workers were inducted into the American Climate Corps last Tuesday during a virtual event from the White House. Their swearing-in marks another step forward for the Biden administration’s ambitious climate agenda. The program, which President Joe Biden announced within days of taking office in 2021, is a modern version of the Civilian Conservation Corps, the New Deal-era project that put 3 million men to work planting trees and building national parks.
This is the Beautiful America that your country needs to return to, not some racist fantasy that Republicans are trying to bring about. These are big steps for mitigating climate change and don’t let anyone tell you that Biden is or will do nothing for another 4 years.

I agree, it is double counted.
However, when it comes to emissions, the buyer and seller should bear half (or something close to that) of the responsibility each. Take the number and divide it in half if you wish, but the producer shifting responsibility to the buyer is not a fair share of the blame, and figures like this help give a sense of how much this is being done.
Riding a replacement Line 1 shuttle is always such a painful experience. I wish they could extend the Sheppard subway west to the Spadina branch, that way whenever there is an outage they could send trains downtown via the other way, which would be still faster than trying to make it down the super narrow Yonge street by bus.
I love TTC memes. Please post more if you have em.
Edit: or fuck it just add junctions and one subway gauge rail on Eglinton for emergency use cause that shit don’t seem to be opening anytime soon…
Lol I think it’s the parking (aka subsidies for motor vehicle users) that really sends it away. Not only are big box stores bigger than your average European store but in North America the space allocated to parking often is several times greater than the footprint of the building.
