I think It’s got a good amount of horror. I typically don’t like horror games outside of things like resident evil. Something about them doesn’t grab my attention. But Prey starts off kinda scary and then calms and ramps back up the fear and then calm again, all when you least expect it.
The roguelike (rougelite?) expansion, mooncrash is great too if that’s more your thing.
Prey is amazing. It’s such a good game. Almost no one I know has played or heard of it either, it reminds me a bit of Metroid prime in some ways. There is a good amount of sequence breaking, and special dialogue you can get from doing things in “the wrong order”.
And System Shock? That remake was awesome. The 2nd one is great too, those monkeys always scared me.

You shouldn’t wash your hair everyday. It can dry out your hair and scalp, potentially causing hair loss. But you should shower every because you most likely have sweat during the day and sweat smells bad and is gross.
Abomination? Well, little kid me thought it was the peak of human effort.
I miss “grapples” I don’t know if anyone else remembers those, but they were apples that tasted like grape soda. They came in a 4-pack and I loved them as a kid. Haven’t seen them anywhere since.

I love it. It was rough at launch, but the story and quest lines were great. With all the updates, it’s on my personal list of greatest games ever made. The writing is amazing, the environments and world are so well crafted.
It’s ok. I used to use it a lot more. There is a hexbear aligned instance which is cool. But a lot of mastodon is very lib. In all honesty, Bluesky had replaced it for me. A lot of communists and socialists to follow. The only major downside I can think of is there is a lot of horny posting. And I’m just not interested in seeing anyone sexualized on my social media.

The joke about “let the fans make the game!” Is sometimes true. I’m sure if a small group of devs were legally allowed to, they would make a pretty good classic pokemon game. But because Nintendo wants every penny that could be warned from the franchise, they can’t help themselves but to go after the competition in courts.

Wandering earth was crazy lol. But it was cool to show the world collaborating to solve a crisis. If you’re a fan of the 2000s era disaster flicks like Armageddon, 2012, Day after tomorrow, it’s a lot like that. But with less “divorced dad saves the day” subplots.

Also, I recommend North Austin if you are looking for something less expensive. Depending on how close to the metro rail you are, life might be more car-dependant. But you’ll still be close to more like-minded individuals, and will have a clearer path towards moving more in town if you want.
