Pretty much every popular American media franchise, from films to television programmes to streaming and comic books, has firm roots in heteronormative oppression & the best you ever see for representation is surface-level. There’s always backtracking to bigotry & appealing to the lowest common denominator. You can’t expect any of this shit to be truly intersectional or free of discriminatory elements.

I celebrate the fact that I had too much a sense of self-reflection to enlist. I knew someone who claimed to be nb & were also orthodox. Then I found out she was baiting queer women & doxxing them regularly. Why she tried anything on an AMAB idk but she got mad that I figured her out.

*There are far better alternatives for veg burger patties that aren’t even “trying to be meat”, those two brands are just sorta good at disguising themselves (mostly with marketing) so those are my chosen examples.
