Honestly it was kind of desperation. It was really hard to accommodate my family’s dietary restrictions with the way I used to eat, so I started learning how to make some basic dishes. I realized I really enjoyed being in the kitchen, so I spent hours upon hours watching cooking shows, reading cookbooks, and trying new recipes.

I’m fully on board. Can you imagine the basement full of model trains if we had a whole palace?
