Lofi pedals are fun regardless of the genre honestly. I bet there’s some black metal guitarists who use the gen loss and just are afraid to say so publicly for fear of losing metal cred. Also look into the new Chase Bliss Lossy pedal too, it’s also lofi but digital lofi instead of physical lofi emulations.

It’s modular idm + video synthesis so it’s basically a niche within a niche within a niche. And then throw in all the chaos that comes with using two new complicated devices live for the first time and this is what you end up with lol. There’s not a lot of substance to get, you either like the chaos or don’t. There’s tons of better examples that weren’t made in one night though, this is just my swing at things.
