3·9 days agoI think culture plays a huge part in this. In heavily industrialized countries (like America, for example), we are taught that more is always better and that living a simple life is somehow shameful or a waste of potential (not everyone believes this, of course - I’m generalizing). Many, many studies have consistently shown that the happiest people on earth are often those who lead the simplest lives. Perspective really is everything.
The only other ‘structure’ I have is stone pillars for the corners, but they’re two blocks high. I wonder if it’s just my world is bugged or something. I’ve no doubts that everything will be sorted out in a future patch, though. For now, it’s just perplexing! Building a pen with double-stacked fencing makes it look more like a cage than a pen…heh. :D

No, I think you’re right. The weird thing is that in all the videos I’ve watched, the fencing looks to be only one block high and the animals appear to be staying put just fine. Maybe it’s a certain type of fencing that holds them in? I honestly don’t know…
Ouch. Sorry this happened, my friend. I believe there’s a mod out there that preserves workbench tiers, if memory serves. I know it doesn’t help you now, but…it’s something?
So…‘WOOST-a-sher’? Hmm…interesting! Thanks! :)
So excited for this! Thank you, devs!!
I immediately thought the same thing! 😁

Hytale@piefed.ca•A single avatar for all worlds and servers??English
1·11 days agoThat sounds good to me. I just don’t want to have the exact same avatar for every world/server. What you describe at least gives the player a little choice in the matter. :)
I’ve installed a few simple quality-of-life mods like EyeSpy and Violet’s Wardrobe to my server. No cheats or anything that drastically alters the base game.

I’m not sure I would call using a third-party email client a ‘fringe’ use case. As of yesterday, Thunderbird has 10,992,366 active daily installations. Sure, it’s probably not as many as mobile clients, but that’s still a helluva lot of people using it.
