Go to Michelin starred restaurants. I’m too poor to justify going to these places but my mom likes to take me out for my birthday, and I really love food so I will inevitably agree after a very feeble protest.

This post always makes me smile and reminisce on my old '99 corolla with great fondness. I treated that thing like absolute shit and it’s probably still out there somewhere puttering around without a care in the world. It had almost 400k km on it when my parents donated it but it was in fine (if a bit rattling) condition.
It was succeeded by an '01 corolla which sadly is no longer with us due to a non-corolla driver plowing into its passenger side.
Looks exactly like how my parents make it, this was like my favourite dish growing up.
My coworker once started a conversation by casually asking if I’d ever “done anything” with a cousin. Obviously the conversation ended with him revealing he’d fucked his cousin and me saying WTF progressively louder and louder for at least a minute. I work from home now.
I just don’t understand how this happened. Did no one else on the Australian team see her dance and be like ???
I saw the Australian guy’s dance and he at the very least knew what he was doing.

This is the best scary movie for people who don’t like scary movies.

We did ours early, simply because neither of us knew what to do for dinner the other day. We found this excellent Indian butcher that offered pre-marinated meats and it was amazing. Tandoori lamb chops and smoky chipotle chicken thighs 🤤

Mine are very good doggos. The only casualties have been a charging cable and a samosa. The cable had been handled by someone who had just eaten a burger, and the samosa was the one time the “table off limits” rule was disregarded.

Milk before cereal.

Rosa from Brooklyn Nine Nine. Intensely private, has a stoic facade but surprisingly soft on the inside.

As someone who types very fast, your technique sounds insane to me. It must really be something to behold in person when you’re in the groove.
I mean, sometimes I switch it up and listen to a podcast about infectious diseases instead of true crime.

Chinese soups of various kinds. Many of them are pretty brothy, which I guess isn’t what a lot of people are looking for in a soup, so they’re not super popular unless you’re used to them.
Some people whose first language doesn’t have gendered pronouns mix them up when they speak English.

I’m only sentimental about my childhood home, and my parents still live there so I can relive those fond memories whenever I want. The area around it has changed a lot though, and it makes me feel a bit wistful thinking of how it used to be. I guess this is how you realise you’re old.

No, but I’m an introvert like my dad. My sister and my mom do, they’re way more social. My closest cousin in age doesn’t talk to me, and I don’t talk to him, but we’re each other’s favourites and we’ve said as much in front of our other cousins.
Some of my aunts and uncles randomly showed up in my city and invited me out, so I showed them around a bit, and it was a nice time. I’m finding as I get older that I appreciate family more.
Not true at all. All my female friends are very down to earth. One of them did burst into tears the night before her wedding for seemingly no reason, but that’s an emotional time and out of the ordinary for her. I’m probably the craziest one but I still think I’m very chill. It takes a lot to make me un-chill.
They are different tools, but fun fact, you can make curls or waves with a straightener depending on technique. A curling iron will only do curls.
