Yup! Same here. Once I’ve got everything set up, it has been running smoothly and without any issues for more than 5 years in my case. It’s literally the most reliable system I’ve ever set up, but I understand that the entry hurdle is pretty high.

4·2 years agoRight now, and that’s not even the case everywhere in the world. In many parts of Europe, the operational costs of heat pumps are already lower than those of gas furnaces.
I love Arch but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. In my eyes, the only way one should choose Arch is despite all warnings against it, because they feel confident enough to deal with all the problems they encounter.

If it’s warm outside, all my flat’s windows are open and for better airflow I leave all doors open, too.
If it’s cold outside, everything is closed to retain the heat in my bedroom.
+1 for sleep as android. Been using it for years by now.
No listening to music during breaks. If you were caught with headphones on you without even using them, you could face punishment.

2·2 years agoInteressanter Artikel. Fraglich, wie die Stadtsparkasse sich dann trotzdem erlauben kann, solche Gebühren zu erheben.
Sie dürfen nur die Gebühren zurückfordern, die aufgrund der pauschalen Klausel „ Preis pro Buchungsposten“ abgeflossen sind. Gebühren, für die es besondere Vereinbarungen im Kleingedruckten gibt, können Sie nicht zurückfordern, so lange nicht auch diese Regelung rechtswidrig ist.
Vermutlich ist das der springende Punkt. Im Kleingedruckten listen sie einfach auf, was alles als “Buchungsposten” zu verstehen ist und dann ist es wieder rechtens.
Die Stadtsparkasse verabschiedet sich offenbar nun komplett von Kundenfreundlichkeit und setzt alles darauf, den nicht-internetaffinen Teil der Bevölkerung auszunehmen.
