I also think Arctic is stable enough for an AppStore release, but can always appreciate devs that want to do as much fine tuning as possible rather than rushing things out! I’ll certainly support your endeavors, as Arctic is a pleasure to use.
More customization options are coming soon as well
You piqued my interest there. Mind if I ask what customizations you’ve been planning?
What a cheesy post.
I don’t think lemmy.world is going anywhere, but I keep this lemmy.ca account as a backup just in case of .world outages. It’s been coming in handy the last couple of days.
I got socks. Couldn’t be happier.
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Federation is odd. I have accounts with lemmy.world, lemmy.ca, and fanaticus.social. I can see this post from all three. But from my lemmy.world and fanaticus.social accounts, I saw someone from lemmy.world commented here. But from my lemmy.ca account, I can’t see that person’s comment…
Edit: I should add that the inability to see the comment from lemmy.ca is likely because no one from lemmy.ca searched for the fanaticus.social meta community before. Now that I did, comments should federate.
Noticing some federation issues between lemmy.ca and fanaticus.social. Some posts and comments are going through, while others are not. Apologies while I do some testing.
Testing federation between lemmy.ca and fanaticus.social.
I’m a sign, not a cop.
Minor correction to that. It seems to force prior posts to federate, but not the comments on those prior posts. Interacting with those comments from other instances doesn’t seem to have the same affect. So prior posts just appear with no comments.
Oh well. Still learning and experimenting.
Just FYI, interaction with the prior posts seems to force federation. I went through and upvoted every post in this Community from one of my other accounts. And the Community went from completely empty to fully populated on lemmy.ca. It also helped posts make their way over to lemmy.world.
That makes a lot of sense. Thanks!!
And the comment from fanaticus appears over on .ca.
I was expecting some more scoring out of the Georgia/Clemson game.
