I think whatever involving a money transfer should now be double-triple verified.
Internet should be made a basic human right, considering how much all our life depends on it.
When the support for flash format ended few years ago on all poular browsers, glad to see it implemented in the website itself.
Here in kerala ( a small state in india ), we have a project called Mapathon Keralam. They work with engineering colleges to map out nearby places as well as any place in general. Had contributed few places myself. So pretty much all places in kerala are now mapped in it :)
Not in a bad way, but why is the operating period just 14 days (or one lunar day ) ?
Sadly, cant try this due to the support being for Android 12+ only. Pretty exciting features though.

One more thing is that only a few does comment and post, out of the ones reading the posts,same as in reddit.
I too have been a lurker in reddit, but here, i’ve started to engage more. Hope lemmy brings changes
If you could link the GitHub issue, i will like put a 👍 on it, and if many of the people start that, maybe they will prioritize it.
This was the aim of Sapphire Project. It started way before this AI and large ML models became trending.But still not in a usable condition as i’m aware of.
Another related project is Dicio. App is still in its early stages, but usable for basic tasks.
Checkout the Youtube-shorts-block extension which gives shorts the same UI as normal youtube videos.
Basically what the extension does is replace the parts in the URL youtube.com/shorts/“video-id” to youtube.com/watch?v=“video-id”
