It’s understandable, I’ve needed help from friends and family a lot at times and I know there are many I see all the time that need much more than me. But people are choosing to help you if they send donations or whatever, it’s a kind act that is good for the person doing it too. You give them an opportunity to help someone in need, and with the gratitude you feel from that you can be inspired to help others more. It’s a good thing overall, as far as I can tell you aren’t a jerk and deserve the kindness too

I’m not worth the effort to begin with and just because I post shit I have saved from elsewhere doesn’t mean that I’m deserving of more attention than someone else on here. Other people need help too and it’s not fair of me to be asking for it and taking it from others

I think we as people are all deserving of the help if it’s needed. There may always be someone that’s “worse off” but that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a hand too. That’s the whole goal of society in my view, to help support everyone if we can. If there are people ‘more deserving’ of help and we have limited resources, people that provide the assistance can decide what they can do, it’s still good to ask if you aren’t getting your essential needs met.

I don’t have any good advice really but I hope your situation gets worked out soon.

That’s how I got into communism really, when I was a young lad I would hear right wingers say “the evil dems are going to make us all Socialist!” I wanted to know what that actually meant, and it sounded pretty dope to me. They have shouted this lie for so long, younger people don’t know anything about actually existing socialism or much about the USSR, they just hear “boogeyman that fascists are scared of”.

To me it almost seems like the Epstein files are the actual distraction, people will continually harp about that when nothing will happen about it even if a ‘list’ came out, taking up the narrative instead of discussing the atrocities currently being committed and what we can do about them. It reflects people’s attachment to the bourgeois structures in place, they are still clinging to the idea that if the right evidence comes out, the fascists will be arrested and we can go back to brunch.

I have been seeing it said here and elsewhere that libs are falling for lies about Venezuela, but I haven’t seen a single lib poster, lib I know IRL, or celebrity say anything but it’s a bunch of bullshit.

Obviously dem politicians and industry execs etc are going to push for it quietly, but I haven’t seen anyone really support it aside from the true chuds. Whether or not there is consent for government actions doesn’t seem to have a ton of relevance in the US though.

I think it’s hilarious how often everything is just a ‘distraction’ from something and not because these people enjoy it and are essentially contractually obligated to murder non-white people.

I do appreciate your effort though, language is always evolving, things go out of favor and come back so it’s cool to try different styles to see if they can catch on or can be useful. A lot of things that were modernized from the classical era to the industrial/post industrial era might not actually be ideal for things like accessibility or freedom of expression etc, compared to things that were developed over centuries. I find the style a bit odd because I don’t see it much, but having more characters in English writing could definitely be useful and helpful for learning pronunciation possibly.

Maybe if someone gets used to that character it can be more readible, but it makes it much less smooth to read for me now. I would guess it fell out of usage because to me it seems unnecessary. I don’t mind the triple spaces really though. But I think being further away from the general standard can make the format distract from the content of the text because it’s not as typical and makes it take more time to comprehend, for me at least.

I have the same issue, not local hardware related it seems because it’s essentially the same on my phone, pc, whatever the internet speed or connection type is. If I was more saavy I would build a browser plugin that loads the emotes locally so you can see them quickly or something.

We just all need charts with each image and the corresponding code so we can be proper posters.

Hexbear is obviously better than basically anywhere on the internet but I feel like I’ve been seeing a lot of that lately, and fat shaming sort of posts occasionally, it’s not a super serious/overly common issue but it would be good for hexbears to consider the harm of that.

I feel that, a lot of dread over what’s to come. But I do believe that the actual majority of people are closer to our leftists beliefs than we realize. It may come from crisis and atrocities, but I think if people start organizing a serious resistance we will see more comrades than it seems now. Most media is so captured it’s hard to say what people’s views are or what the current situation really is.

It’s not a smear campaign to say I don’t trust someone who enjoys nazi iconography. He says he enjoyed killing, had a Nazi death squad tattoo over his heart for years after he knew it was a nazi symbol, and he is a war criminal who took every chance he could to go kill more. Absolutely fuck this guy, I don’t need to see his posts or more context, and I’m sick of people pretending like there aren’t a thousand more trustworthy people that could run for that position. It’s like this whole thing was designed in a lab to make all of us lose our minds even more.

What do you suggest the current victims being murdered by living versions of Hitler do? Passively resist as they are shuffled to the gas chamber?
