I’m not bitter or anything but the way goalkeepers are protected is a joke. They get away with so much and get fouls called in their favour for absolutely everything.

Having such good players available to them certainly helps but Morocco usually have good players and were perennial under performers until 2022. I think most of their success has to be attributed to Walid Regragui and his coaching staff for building a cohesive squad and setting the team up well tactically.

Rugby is mostly played by private school kids or in certain areas like the borders. It’s not really a detriment to football. Football’s problem is primarily a coaching issue which is something that Rugby also suffers from.
