    Protest isn’t outlawed but it is crippled. They were protesting on Microsoft’s private property. And then proceeded to cause damage and refuse to leave when told to. That’s pretty much always going to get you arrested.

    They could have legally stayed on the sidewalk on the public easement and stayed passive with just using signs and chants etc. but that wouldn’t have made the news.
