In the recent Lemmy developer update, there’s a reference to one Lemmy developer, SleeplessOne1917.
I found some horrifying comments from this user.
https://lemmygrad.ml/comment/2649200 - “There is no such thing as an Israeli civilian. All settlers are valid targets.”
https://lemmygrad.ml/comment/2649472 - “15 year olds are military age. That makes them valid targets for killing.”
https://lemmygrad.ml/comment/2649732 - “… There is no such thing as a zionoid civilian. Everything that moves and isn’t Palestinian is a valid target. …”
Well I am glad we aren’t associated with lemmygrad which is where this user appears to hail from.
Created an account just for this shit kind of drama? If you disagree with the politics of a contributor to a FOSS project you may fork it and remove all his contributions or leave the project entirely. His politics and views have no impact on the contents of lemmy instances.
The last comment link doesn’t seem to work for me at least.
You can find it here[1]
It doesn’t show up for me when I did a quick ctrl + F through the comments.
I think war and terrorism are wrong in almost all forms. Also politics is very complex. People telling you, “here’s what to think, the situation is black and white, and That person is a monster, case closed.” are simple-minded rage baiters. I spent too long fact-checking poorly written CBC articles yesterday. I don’t want to see sensational posts about complex issues where the stakes are an immense amount of human suffering on my feed. @onefriend1 blocked
