Make this make sense…there were plenty of homosexual relationships in China’s incredibly long history, and I read somewhere they even have super popular Chinese live action dramas about it.
Like I get that they don’t really need Pride like in the US, but I can’t really wrap my head around these contradictions. :/
China can make mistakes, China can make bad decisions, China can be selfish, contradictory, or take evil actions. They are still human and China is still a socialist experiment.
The country is still extremely young in the socialist lens and needs time to grow. You can’t just hope that everything will magically right itself in a socialist world. Socialists are human too don’t forget.
That’s why socialists can never lay down their arms and cease advocating for change and progress. Stagnation in the economy, culture, society, education, or etc are one way tickets to death for a socialist country.
