    I can’t tell you how much I fucking love being told I killed Jesus. Yes. Me. Personally. I did it because I’m a Jew.

    And this wasn’t a one-time occurrence by any means. But at least most of them say “your people” rather than blame me.

      Who told those guys about the Jewish Time Travel gene?! It’s a right of passage for us to go kill Jesus during our bar/bat mitzvah, but no one is supposed to know.

      I don’t know why anyone is surprised when these people spout their discriminatory bullshit. This is the party of Jewish space lasers. It’s infuriating and enlightening that they keep getting elected.

      People have no grasp on the concept of bloodline and ancestry to begin with. That immigrant 7 generations ago who came to America? Yeah your blood is practically not related at this point.

      On the other hand, why’d you do it man? He seemed like a cool guy /s

      Having been raised an evangelical (don’t worry, I recovered) I can tell you the Bible verse they use to justify that view.

      Jesus stands before Pontius Pilate and the Jewish people in audience. Pilate tries to get Jesus out of crucifixion but the crowd won’t have it:

      This part only happens in the telling in Matthew;

      Matthew 27:24-26

      24 So when Pilate saw that he could do nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took some water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this man’s blood; see to it yourselves.”

      25 Then the people as a whole answered, “His blood be on us and on our children!”

      26 So he released Barabbas for them; and after flogging Jesus, he handed him over to be crucified.

      Again, I believe non of this. Just thought you might appreciate the back story if you didn’t know it already.

        In contrast the Catholic church, at least since Vatican 2, has said the interpretation that scapegoats Jews is not correct. Jesus was literally a member of the Jewish community at the time so it doesn’t make much sense to say “its Jews’ fault” for killing him.

        If anything the lesson is against the hubris of Judean leadership for using the Roman government to their own political ends. It bit them in the ass. They got rid of Jesus, but Pilate said, “this shit is on you guys”. He also labeled Jesus’ crucifix “The King of the Jews” and refused to change it, when the Jewish elders wanted it to say “this guy claimed to be the King of the Jews”.

      You should start responding with “You’re welcome”. Because if Jesus hadn’t died for their sins, they wouldn’t be Christian.
