If any of these things appeal to you, this game is worth it: deck builders, tactical turn-based combat, the hangout parts of recent Fire Emblem and Persona games, superheroes (particularly the edgy ones)

I actually liked the game a lot. I did a full playthrough. The combat system is quite fun. I thought the social aspects were very comfy, but I can see some people being put off by them. There is a lot of dialogue and side stuff

Yeah, for this one you have to decide if “Blade starts a book club to hang out with his crush, only to have a third wheel tag on because he genuinely want to read books and be buds” is enough to make you want to play an 80+ hour game. For me, that was 100% what sold me on it.

Firaxis just make XCOM 3 challenge: impossible.

The mechanics of Midnight Suns look so good, its so annoying because the MCU shit actively pushes me away.

I played the whole game with the DLC - it was fun to have, but I don’t know if I would recommend going back to play through it.

The characters are kinda samey with the existing cast and have limited integration into the story.

The new enemy types and story missions were nice to have. Some of the new enemies are super annoying to play against.
