No vote, and subject everyone to the tantrums of the bigoted bronze manchild… who is even WORSE about Palestine.

Then when things are objectively worse, even for Palestinians, they will smile smugly in the mirror, distractedly fondling their bloated ego, thinking - “I did my part… bY nOt VoTiNg! MuH pURiTeH!”

So they’re going to use their abstention to hold America hostage and risk Trump getting elected if they don’t get what they want? And then what?

Their hearts are in the right place, but their brains sure as hell aren’t. Big picture, people: see it.

For about 2 days, I had a feeling of optimism but fucking knew we were going to single-issue our way to a Trump dictatorship. Was just hoping that wouldn’t become apparent for another few days so I could enjoy the optimism a little longer. :sigh:

Harris has at least said and shown she cares about this too

who knows what she might be able to do before the election to convince people to vote for her

and this is not a single-issue thing it is human lives

sure you would not be saying the same if you became a single-issue

      Harris is asking a lot

she wants votes and support but the citizens have to be convinced

not up to the citizens to lead right and right now the people need to see skin in the game

      ball is in her court

So let me get this straight. Instead of candidate A who is more likely to make the situation you (and they) want happen, you’re willing to cede the election to the candidate who is not going to make the situation you want happen and is in all honesty likely to make it worse.

But Harris is asking a lot. I honestly want you to explain how letting Trump and the Conservatives win could possibly result in a good thing. Please tell me how that will help the people of Gaza and all Palestinians. I want to know how you think Trump as President will end the genocide.

Or is this when you admit you’re actually a conservative/Russian bot?

          rephrase then since you misunderstood

any candidate in any election anywhere is asking a lot from the citizens and should be able to show that they have more invested in the election besides campaign donations

that should be the requirement at least but people in the US think as long as the person likes their favorite color and letter then that is all that is required out of a candidate

for example Harris showed the LGBQT+ community that she stands on their side by being on RuPaul’s Drag Race is just one example

and she is attempting to throw skin at this situation mentioned in the article whether it will be enough the voters will say in November and she has said she is not done fighting about this so again time will tell

not on any party’s side since bipartisan politics took my vote away thank you fuck both parties but Harris did mention restoring people’s votes that lost them like I did

so do lean towards Harris and maybe would vote for her if could because she is attempting to throw personal skin of herself into the game she is putting herself on the line risking her career to let people know she is on their sides

that is what candidate should do but she has a whole Democrat party of voters to unite with different stakes for voting which is what was pointing out

and if you think forgot about Trump he failed his voters by not living up to his campaign promises and thinks you can win an election on showmanship

fuck both parties but at least Harris is appearing to be a breath of fresh air just hoping she keeps it that way for the next four years

any candidate including Republicans have to be able to put skin in the game and unite both their own party and the citizens

also saying people have to vote Democrat because Republicans are fascists is fascist as fuck too because it takes choices away which is what you are advertising about

being forced to do something without your bodily autonomy is not democracy in action

So because you don’t like living in a 2 party system and have refused to move to a locality that has your preferred system of voting, you are willing to allow the Palestinian genocide to get worse.

            Cool story bro.

I’ll make sure to erect a plague “Verdant Banana could have helped by pressuring their local state and federal politicians and voting for politicians more likely to end the genocide but didn’t because ‘bOtH pArTiEs BaD’”

feelings are not in this equation

first both parties enacted laws and legislations that took mine and others votes away and not everyone is able to magically up and move believe me tried a lot

and the computer store work in does get involved with grassroots efforts by informing patrons of the issues we face which is part of why like Harris

she mirrors a lot of what has been discussed in our shop and yes our shop is already putting up a poster supporting Harris

what will really be something is if Harris keeps going against the Democrat handbook and leans like Sanders

I’m going to level with you, after your previous statement anything you say to me is instantly piped to /dev/null . You have an opinion and I respect that fact, but I don’t respect your opinion. You’ve lost all credibility in my eyes and I’m saddened to think that we work in the same industry.

I was wondering how long it would take to see Kremlin propaganda scrambling to blame Harris for Israel’s genocide.

Hey, VP, we realize you have almost no real power even within your own country. However, if you don’t make this other country stop its genocide, we’re going to vote for the guy who will exacerbate the genocide.

          case in point /\

Blue MAGA is not too far off sounding from Red MAGA

if you read the article it is at the beginning below the picture five lines down if you include the picture caption

A Pennsylvania group is asking voters to refuse support for Vice President Kamala Harris in November’s elections until the Biden administration brings about a permanent ceasefire in Gaza, or Harris publicly commits to an arms embargo on Israel if she becomes president.

right at the beginning of the article

or Harris publicly commits to an arms embargo on Israel if she becomes president.

          that is not asking much
