I’ll pushback on the preheat though, we just got a microwave air fryer combo (awesome saving space) and while it heats up super quick, still have to add a few minutes for preheat.

Air fryer for the win. Think of it like your microwave: pop the food in, set the timer or use a program, wait for DING! It’s not just faster than regular oven but no preheating and more automated so it’s easier
You can get a pack of frozen hash browns for cheaper than that. Saves time, money, and tastier imo.

Forever never seems that long till you’re gone.
I do them on a tray in the oven and I don’t even bother with flipping. They still come out great.
Thats the best thing about them, still great the lazy way.
If I’m feeling extra though, I’ll brush some oil on it and salt it, maybe some other random seasonings.
I almost had them tasting like dunkin hashbrowns once, was very nice.
