But the bigger issue is the left and their ability or their desire to engage with anyone who’s not already in the bubble. And they get a big fat D minus on that. I mean, you see Kamala, I mean, I’m glad she’s doing well, I’m glad we have a real fight now for president. But [she] doesn’t talk to the press. You know? Would never go near me. You know, when you won’t go near the people who are going to vote for you. I’m going to vote for you. Do I have to love everything? No, I don’t. It just shows…

I saw this same shit on a NYT article today. “But why won’t she talk to us!!! She must be a secret bay area leftist!”

      Fuck Brett at the NYT.

And a SCAB. Be certain to mention that Bill Maher is a SCAB every time he is mentioned. No one listens to a SCAB, by being a SCAB Bill Maher is not qualified to comment on anything but being a SCAB. Which Bill Maher is: a SCAB.

I can’t speak for Harris, but if I was her, I sure as hell wouldn’t give any time to that smug, petulant, self-absorbed twat, unless maybe it was to indulge my desire to punch him in the nose.

Thinking about it though, that last might be worth it - I would think that punching Bill Maher in the nose would almost certainly gain votes.

Interrupting, Tarantino contested: “Well, there’s no reason for her to go on your show before the election.”

After Tarantino launched into a rant pushing back, claimed that Harris was winning and with the shortened campaign time was in the middle of a “mad fucking dash” and the voters like him, who would back the Democrat anyway, wouldn’t care what “she says in a stupid fucking interview.”

I need a bigger audience all the time. I’m greedy that way.

There it is. He’s fallen out of popularity and wants to jump on the Harris-Walz wagon cause he thinks it’ll bring him back. He needs her way more than she needs him.

The MSNBC crowd is already voting for her. People who watch me, who will decide, this election will probably be decided in like four states by something like 80,000 votes in each.

He thinks his viewers are the swing voters? How convenient for the washed up weirdo. Maher sounds desperately thirsty here.

“I, a D-list celebrity with lots of subhuman followers, was not let into the club. This goes to show you that the club is thinking about me and is scared of people like me. Their actions clearly revolve around me otherwise they would have let me in.”

Bill Maher must be a bigger loser than I thought.

No one loves the sound of Maher’s voice more than Maher. The name of the show should be changed to “Confidently Incorrect”

Ahh, so a return to normalcy where the presidential candidate speaks to news organizations, and commentators and influencers can make hay from that.

Why would she? So he can creep on a presidential candidate the way he did the hawk tuah girl?

Politically Incorrect had potential, but it didn’t take long to see that it wasn’t about the four guests, but about him. A real loss, an actual debate show where four people from different places discuss topics and opinions, and the host shuts up, would have been great.

On the one hand it could help. On the other hand, going onto shows with belligerent hosts is such a minefield the risks outweigh the reward.

I don’t really understand the vitriol about Maher. Tons of people are way worse. And about all the weird insults to his career… He has a show on HBO. Do you have a show on HBO?

I used to be a pretty big fan of Bill Maher.

I say he is washed up because he is VERY vocal about the younger generation not getting comedy and his being “canceled”

The more I heard his whining on the topic the more I realized that he thinks he is a lot more funny than he is.

If the audience isn’t laughing maybe its best to ask if your joke was funny before blaming the audience

I’m not aware of that other than a couple of offhanded comments like “oh come on people”. I used to like him a lot more but for some reason everyone HATES him universally now which I don’t really get.

    Comedian Bill Maher

That always strikes me as odd. Has he ever done anything funny? He just seems like a pompous ass.

He has done standup for years, but I’ve never found him all that funny. He also commits what many other comics (and former comics like myself) consider a cardinal sin: he berates his audience when they don’t laugh at his jokes. And not even in a funny way. He just says something like, “okay, fuck you,” if the joke bombs.
