Ok I know this is going to sound crazy but hear me out. If psychadelics are ever legalized we should perform famous experiements and document any change in the perception of the outcome or possibly if there are other things that we normally can’t see.

Psychadelics change our perception of time and the perception of our senses, essentially through an increase of transmission speed between neurons and increasing your brains neuroplasticity. Essentially you feel and think faster, go through information faster, and your thoughts aren’t limited to the normal set tracks you use regularly.

Due to quantum superposition we also know that quantum experiements can be affected by an observer, where particles can be in multiple states at the same time until they are measured.

Putting these two together just to see what happen. I believe the new state that the observers are in could allow them to see if a different state of the experiement could be found through the new perception of the observers. I would be really interested in seeing famous science experiments redone(if they’re visible in real time) , or shown to scientists in some sort of video and see if there is new insight to be gained. Maybe because their brains would less rigid they could find different ways of understanding outcomes and maybe our more modern understanding of science could be applied to places that weren’t obvious before.

It could also be a double experiement by letting other scientests gather data about the ones on psychadelics. You could get neuroscientist to examine their brain patterns, sociologists and psychologist to examine the new group dynamics or tendencies of the ones on psychadelics.

I think even though this may sound crazy there could be insight to be had whether by the ones on psychadelics or by others watching this process.

Tldr: make scientists do some historical experiements to see if theres new insight to be found.

(I dont have a science degree or a job in the field so what I know is fairly surface level)
