I still mask everywhere and will have my ninth vaccine next month. Iā€™ve been lucky to only have one mild case that was basically a stuffy nose. I feel very fortunate, and I take it really seriously.

The only 2 things Iā€™ve had that were worse than the last time I had COVID:

        • Pneumonia when I was 15, so sick I had to be carried to the washroom.
        • Whooping cough earlier this year, coughing so much I couldnā€™t sleep, couldnā€™t walk more than 3 or 4 meters in a go

If you have easy access to a boosterā€¦ fuckin do it!
I was sick as a dog for 3 weeks, started being symptomatic late Feb, was well enough to work again by mid Marchā€¦had a persistent cough until early June, and due to health monitoring at work my lung capacity and strength has been verified as having gone down about 5%. Itā€™s almost October and I still have a bit of a cough, not all the time like right after the worst of it, but if itā€™s cold, or humid, or Iā€™ve been lying down for a few hours(say around 2am)ā€¦

Anyway, definitely get a booster if you can.

Iā€™ll ask my GP. I do not fool around with getting vaccines as needed, thatā€™s for sure. I just donā€™t know what the policy is.

Would I be a bad person if I fibbed to public health to get an Mpox vaccine by telling them I have multiple sex partners? I donā€™t but I would like one because itā€™s spread by touch.

I had the real influenza which was a bit worse, but I wasnā€™t vaccinated 3 times against that. Covid gave me over 6 months of loss of smell, that was terrible.
