I cannot relate, I’m so utterly unaffected by caffeine. Though odd from what I know, does it really help with getting down to writing (in reasonable amounts)?

Yeah it’s of course an oversimplification, but with a sample size of approximately 5 all of the people I know with ADHD told me that coffee/energy only calms them down

I mean stimulants are what they give you to treat ADHD. Adderall, Vyvanse etc.

Many undiagnosed adhd people self medicate with smoking and coffee.

In my experience caffeine does help, but not as much. I find tea to be better than coffee.

Nicotine was honestly the most effective outside of controlled substances, but a nasty habit so I gave it up.

Can confirm, I sometimes chug an energy drink to quiet my brain for a nap. I also don’t recommend anyone do this
