A very enthusiastic Warhammer fan that works in the deli at my store told me about the red paint thing, and it continues to be one of the single greatest things I’ve ever learned about Warhammer.
Its about the most hilariously bullshit ex post facto justification ever, and I love it. Some dood scribbled Kool ork bois with red paint on them and then had to make up some lore as to how their buckets of mad max looking vehicles were in any way a threat to a foe with Nova cannons.
