I can get there in an hour, so, hey, I just might.

Coming from out of town, I’d maybe hit up the Toledo Museum of Art (free, $10 for parking, though you can typically park at the church next door for free) or a Mud Hens game ($13 a ticket), then grab food and drinks at either Packo’s at the Park or Toledo Spirits. Maybe visit the new Glass City Metropark on the other side of the Maumee River (free).

Alright, that sounds like a nice afternoon. What’s at Packo’s, foodwise? Anything top tier on the menu?

Packo’s is more of a “local institution” than a “top tier restaurant”. Made famous by the TV series MAS*H, they serve Hungarian Hot Dogs (basically sausages), along with things like fried pickles and chicken paprikas.

If you’re looking for something a little higher end, I’d suggest something along the lines of M’Osteria, Registry Bistro, or Kengo Sushi.

Wait, what’s with Kengo Sushi, if they’re pulling the fish out of Erie I’m in, actually. If not that’s cool too but if somebody is doing sushi with local fish I want to know about that

I’ve never actually been, to be honest, so I don’t really know. I just know it’s been popular enough that the head chef has since opened a couple of other restaurants.
