    Just so folks know.

    It’s not that difficult to sew two blankets together, assuming the material is not too loose. You can have plenty of blanket to keep everyone covered, and still snuggle up without the two coming off as separate blankets.

    If I can do it with my arthritis, anyone can :)

      Maybe it’s just with me, but stolen blanket syndrome never has anything to do with the size of the blanket. I’ve had floor-to-floor size blankets that still somehow end up entirely on one side (and the floor on that side).

      Basic sewing knowledge is such a useful life skill. I was taught how to operate a sewing machine from a young age. Even have my own machine — an old antique Singer that needed a bit of restoration. Even simple hand sewing can be a life saver.
