    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Holocaust

In case it wasn’t clear what I was asking about, Sanders claims to have lost family to the Holocaust, which to me doesn’t sound as denial.

The fact that America doesn’t really practice democracy while simultaneously trying to force it on others is shitty (but also wasn’t the question).

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocide_of_indigenous_peoples#Broader_conceptions_of_genocide

I can post wikipedia articles as well

Scholars focusing on genocides of Indigenous peoples criticize the view of the Holocaust as unique, arguing it diminishes the significance of Indigenous genocides, which are often seen as lesser or primitive and reinforce Eurocentrism. They believe this comparison undermines the moral standing of Indigenous survivors compared to Jewish survivors.

The word holocaust has a pretty specific event related to it. If you say “genocide denier” we would be on the same page.

I can see why people don’t federate with this instance

Just so we are on the same page - you people are getting angry because I am using a word the way the rest of the world uses it. The sentiment here seems to be that Bernie Sanders is the best option on the left, but you hope he dies, because only having worse people would be better I guess? I have agreed with the point that he has glossed over genocide in America… and yet everything I’ve said is being downvoted, and I’m now a “klanner”.

Again, I can see why people don’t like federating with lemmy.ml. It seems like a decent portion of people here are edgy contrarians just for the sake of it.

PS - you are arguing on the side of X users moderators, that should tell you something about yourself.

Liberals are white supremacists, they are all irredeemably evil

They say “muh civility” while doing mass murder

Edit: oh and they all lie about the holocaust too

              Yeah nevermind my other comment.
This is some bullshit that they think doubling down does anything other than make themselves look like further fools for ignoring the objective reality of having to adjust your position to match the real world.
And instead it’s now about shouting the right thing to get the right kind of feedback from the echo chamber of people thinking they agreeing with themselves this much means more than just now they need to wash their hands from all the ball fondling they are doing for each other in here.

It’s basically pointless cesspool equal to truth social except for people that want an economic policy they think more directly favors them instead of millionaires and somehow that makes them in any kind of shape or form better people rather than a different flavor of self servicing conservative.

Yeah. Anyways, sorry you tried but I appreciated it.
