Searching for a community by its ID seems to be broken on feddit.org. To reproduce:
- Go to https://feddit.org/search
- Change Type: “All” to “Communities” in the drop-down selection box
- Put “!test@sh.itjust.works” in the search input box
- Click the Search button
No results are found.
On other Lemmy instances, I have seen this type of search work.
Mhm I don’t see a result when I try it on lemmy.world and sh.itjust.works either but when I just search for test I see the community in question:
Hm… In that case, I wonder if this is a bug in recent versions of Lemmy. I’m sure it worked when I was using other instances, but a few months have passed since then, so it’s likely that they were running earlier versions.
