Damn, 6kTons and 24MW, that’s some chunky machine!!
Frankly, this kind of beefy thing is needed. Wind is great and all, but it’s always fully or partially converted - any grid needs a big ol’ rotating mass to keep frequency and voltage stability against varying loads.
