i’m not clued in, why pick charlotte?
I think the details are not clear. North Carolina was a swing state in 2024 election. North Carolina has a 50:50 split on Democrat:Republican. Charlotte is very Democrat-leaning compared to the rest of the state. Trump often says he wants to target “Democrat-run cities”.
North Carolina just recently gerrymandered the Congressional districts for the second time like 2 years. Prior to the gerrymandering there was 7 Democrat and 7 Republican congressional districts. After the gerrymandering, there are 11 Republican districts and 3 Democrat districts.
It’s also where that person got stabbed on a bus. The news story that chuds blew up to show that white people are being hunted in the streets. Part of this ICE thing is overall crime, not just crime caused by immigrants. Chicago ICE just bragged the other day about lowering crime across the board.
