Well you are in luck I have made 8 video games that are totally free and open source with 1 non open source and paid expansion for one of the games, link to those games and paid expansion here: https://daniel-hanrahan-tools-and-games.github.io/ , do you think 100% free and open source games are the solution to this parts shortage and what other solutions do you might have to the RAM shortage?, no wrong answers. Game links start from Bowling Mega Mix to and end at guide the marble, paid expansions are in each of those links, I thought I would let you know where those related links would be.
I agree with the other comment that this is kinda clickbait. Just make an honest post to one of the open source games communities and don’t try to be sneaky about it
Not trying to be sneaky about it, I’m just trying to provide a solution to parts crisis and do you have a solution to the parts crisis.
How would games be relevant to a hardware shortage? I fail to see how this is anything but a poor attempt at self promotion
And software needs resources to run.
The games use less hardware resources than most games so people would only need to buy a lower amount of resources.
I really hope “they can run on potatoes” isn’t your games best quality
No it is not, they are really fun and the games that are not text based they can run on anything that is compatible with opengl 3.0 and the text based games they can run on anything, I tested it with a really slow cpu.
I would be if I had money for new hardware at all.
