    I just caught up on this series and it’s at a dramatic point. This world they live in is super fucked up the more we learn about it.

      That’s basically every game world / fantastical world when taken seriously. That’s why parodies are so fun.

      Then again, our world is “tricky” too. There is so much that we don’t understand of our world; I can understand why so many people default to religions which provide much simpler explanations. (Personally, I find the “we live in a simulation” theory fun). Anyway, kudos to physicists, philosophers and the likes; they have my respect for having the tough job of making sense of the world.
